For CCP or Controlable Pitch Propellers, the hub is a key and complex component to cast in Aluminium Bronze Alloys
Mainly sand casted in grades ASTM B148 C95800 or EN 1982-CC333G, they can for some specific navy or coastgard applications require specific low magnetic nickel aluminium bronze grades such as Inoxyda 53AMA.
Our melting and pouring capacities in our 2 facilities in Nantes and Rouen enable us to cast virtually any large size hub.
Mainly delivered as fully machined components, they can on a case by case basis be delivered rough machined.
