Aluminium Bronze Sand Casted Components for Heat Exchangers

CASTED CHANNELS

Usually made in welded construction, they can also usefully be sand casted with following advantages :

- better availability than aluminium bronze plates and flanges 

- less risk of corrosion at welded joints which don't exist anymore

- full compatibility thus avoiding galvanic corrosion of the part

When used, nickel aluminium bronze alloys are preferably specified according ASTM/ASME standards (in particular B148 C95400 / C95800 / C95820 and /or  B171 C63000)
