Special NAB Alloys
Copper based alloys
All Aluminium bronze grades are copper based alloys very well documented in various standards and norms among which :
International standards :
EN 1982 / BS 1400 / ASTM B 148 / ASTM B171 / ASTM B 505
Military standards :
DEF STAN / STF / GAMM MM11 / GAMM MM12 / MIL-STD
Yet, for certain applications those standard NAB alloys might not have all the required characteristics in terms of corrosion resistance or mechanical properties .
INOXYDA CUSTOM NAB ALLOYS
At Inoxyda we have gained experience of bespoke engineered projects with stringent requirements which have led us to develop for our customers a proprietary range of nickel aluminium bronze alloys such as :
Inoxyda 3P
for heat conductibility applications ( 60 W/mK)
Applications : electrical motor casings, heat exchangers
Inoxyda 53AMA and Inoxyda 3PAMA
for low magnetic permeability < 1.05
Applications : mine hunter propulsion lines
Inoxyda 154 (sand casting or forging) :
for high mechanical properties ( TS > 750 MPa)
Applications : underwater electronic casings and couplings
Inoxyda 3Cryo :
for resistance to low temperature
Applications : cryogenic valves and pumps
Inoxyda 90 :
for rolled plates
Applications : welded constructions
